  This is one of my all-time favorites that I have listed. It is a beautiful 1933/1934 Solid 14 karat white gold Waltham. Think a minute what was happening in 1933/1934, we were in the greatest economic hardship that this country has ever faced. Who could afford this watch back the? It has a story that perhaps will never be told.
  
  
  Look at the watch carefully; no part of this watch went untouched. The dial was sent to International Dial to have the dial and hands refinished. International Dial has some of the original dial templates that were used for refinishing Hamilton, Elgin, Illinois, Gruen and many more.
  
  
  This is a 6/0 1933/1934 17 “Ruby” Jewel power plant that has just been serviced! It is 91 years young, yet it looks like a teenager.
  
  
  
  This watch has been carefully restored, I was careful to source only period correct parts where possible. I have been collection? IT is very difficult to find solid gold cases from that era, so many were melted.
  
  
  The case measures approximately 30MM across. The case has been gently polished to bring out the luster that only solid gold can do. It has a bright finish as all the scratches and minor abrasions have been carefully removed. The watch looks like it could be in a jewelry store in 1934 for sale.
  
  
  The band is 16MM brand new camel color padded new leather band with a high polished stainless steel tang buckle.
  
  
  This movement has been serviced and keeps amazing time for a watch that is years young. It has a new crystal and mainspring as well. The stem and crown have been adjusted to make sure they operate smoothly. This is a 15 jewel 6/0 size

  You have a rare opportunity to own a hard to find timepiece. Do a search on solid 14 karat white gold watches from the depression era. I bet the only ones that you find for sale are mine. I have several for sale in my shop. I sometimes wait 1-2 years to get a case that is healthy enough to use. In addition, many were melted down through the years.
