  I have been selling on Etsy for some years now. This genre of watch is one of my favorite offerings of ALL time. It is one watch that can easily summarize the “Art Deco” time period without a spoken word? Let me introduce you to the Elgin E-1
  
  
  1929. The Stock Market Crash! . The USA was in a “Happy” place before October. This is a bit of a whimsical design. This striking Elgin wristwatch has a “Engraved” case with Art Deco designs in black enamel. This example is in crisp, extraordinary condition with all of its bright finish intact. Black enamel is superb and complete. The case back is excellent condition.
  
  
  Look at the engraved detail. This case was taken apart, cleaned very well in a professional ultrasonic and some of the black enamel was carefully applied back on. The case back had its original satin finish applied. The bezel has beautiful engraved detailing as well as the case sides, it is a sublime offering from the “Art Deco” period, my favorite time period for American Watches. This a rare green gold filled carved case.
  
  
  Notice the numbers are luminous. I had aged luminous material applied to replicate the aged look of luminous material from the early part of the 20th century, again, the attention to detail.
  
  
  It runs spot on as of this listing. If you want it serviced, let me know I have an amazing watch technician, especially with early American watches. It was serviced the February of 2024
  
  
  The case measures 32.00mm long and 28.00mm wide. Remember watches from this time frame are smaller than today’s watches are often over 40MM. This is a smaller watch, please know that. It was be perfect complement to any occasion
